Salomon is headquartered in Annecy, France.As our new VP People Global Operations (W/M), you will play a pivotal role in designing, leading, and executing the global people operations strategy to ensure the company attracts, retains, and develops top talent worldwide.
You will oversee the operational backbone of Human Resources by managing global compensation & benefits, digital HR tools and systems, and global talent mobility & succession planning. As a key member of the HR leadership team, you will enable business growth through robust people processes, data-driven workforce planning, and seamless employee lifecycle management.
You will be a cornerstone of the company's HR strategy, directly impacting the ability to attract, engage, and retain high-performing Talents globally. By aligning rewards, career opportunities, and workforce planning with organizational goals, you will ensure that the company remains competitive in the outdoor market while fostering a culture of performance and happiness.
You will work in close collaboration with all of our departments.
You will report directly to the Chief People & Culture Officer.
Main Activities:
1.Compensation & Benefits (Including International Mobility)
- Design, implement, and monitor global compensation structures, bonus & retail commission schemes, benefits, ESPP, and long-term incentives aligned with company performance and market benchmarks.
- Manage payroll budget planning and ensure effective monitoring of labour cost across HQ & regions.
- Oversee global mobility policies to ensure smooth international assignments and compliance with local regulations.
- Drive strategies to attract and retain employees through competitive reward systems and recognition programs.
2. Transformation, Digital HR Tools and Workforce Planning
- Drive the digital and organizational evolution of the Human Resources function while ensuring that HR processes, tools, and technologies are modernized, data-driven, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Lead the development and optimization of digital HR systems (HRIS, SmartRecruiters, workforce planning tools) to support HR teams in delivering their missions effectively.
- Ensure data integrity, scalability, and user experience across all digital platforms.
- Implement tools and dashboards to monitor HR performance, workforce analytics, and business impact.
3. Talent Identification, Mobility & Succession Planning
- Establish and oversee programs for talent identification, horizontal/vertical/internal/global mobility, and succession planning for critical roles.
- Partner with HRD & HRBP and HR leadership teams to develop career path and individual development plans linked to performance and potential.
- Drive a culture of career progression and internal opportunities to foster employee engagement and retention.
