Position Overview:

Salomon is seeking a highly motivated and creative CMF Design Intern to join our dynamic team in the Apparel Section. The CMF Design Intern will play a key role in assisting the CMF (Color, Material, and Finish) team in developing seasonal color palettes, graphic designs, and material&finish strategies that reflect Salomon's brand identity and meet the needs of our diverse customer base.

Your mission will include:

1. CMF Design Support

• Assist the CMF team in researching and identifying emerging trends in color, materials, and finishes relevant to outdoor sports apparel.
• Support the development ofseasonal CMF mood boards, inspiration sources, and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with designers to create and refinecolor palettesaligned with Salomon's brand DNA and consumer insights.
• Assist in organizing and maintainingcolor and material librariesfor internal reference.

2. Graphic and Material Development

• Support graphic designers in developingprint and pattern conceptsfor apparel collections, incorporating seasonal themes, brand identity, and technical requirements.
• Help coordinate and maintainstrike-off and sample libraries.
• Conduct trend and material research, exploringinnovative, sustainable, and performance-driven materialsand trims for apparel products.

3. Operational and Project Support

• Providetimely and effective operative design supportto the CMF and Apparel Design teams, contributing to short-term project planning and execution.
• Actively participate incross-functional development projectsas a collaborative team member.

• Currently pursuing a degree inCMFDesign, Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Passion foroutdoor sportsand strong familiarity withSalomon's brand and products.
• Excellentvisual and aesthetic sensibilitywith a keen eye for color, pattern, and texture.
• Proficiency inAdobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); knowledge ofClo3D, Substance, or other 3D CMF softwareis a plus.
• Strongcommunication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge ofmaterials and manufacturing processesis an advantage.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in afast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• English level : B2/C1
